Oil Festival: from 6 to 8 December

Three days entirely dedicated to the green gold of the Val d’Orcia hills.

A product of great excellence is the extra virgin olive oil that San Quirico d’Orcia celebrates with the 31st edition of the Oil Festival, scheduled from 6 to 8 December, organized by the Municipality and Pro Loco.

It was 1993 when San Quirico decided that the new vintage of extra virgin olive oil should be a moment of celebration, an explosion of flavors and aromas, the best opportunity to get to know and taste a great excellence of this territory.

Through the streets of the town of Val d’Orcia, the flavors and aromas of the new oil, popular folklore, the opportunity to visit world-famous landscapes and to taste the brand new vintage of extra virgin olive oil with the protagonist producers.

An edition that also leaves room for trekking, tastings in companies and guided tours carried out in collaboration with Aicoo, for a celebration that makes green gold the undisputed king of Val d’Orcia tradition. And lots of music and entertainment to enliven the squares and streets of the historic center.
